Additionally, connecting power to terminals 2 and 5 activates the brake, ensuring the actuator remains at an intermediate stop. In the event of a power loss, this system is engineered to release the brake, allowing the actuator to safely revert to its fail-safe position, which is adjustable via the limit switch.
