| * EACH ACTUATOR SHOULD BE POWERED THROUGH IT'S OWN INDIVIDUAL SWITCH OR RELAY CONTACTS TO PREVENT CROSS FEED BETWEEN TWO OR MORE ACTUATORS. | |||
Operation Notes
1. Power to terminal 2 & 4 will drive motor CCW. Brake energizes when NO of OLS closes to hold actuator in CCW position.
2. Power to terminal 2 & 6 will drive motor CW. Brake energizes when NO of CLS closes to hold actuator in CW position.
3. Power to terminal 2 & 5 will energize brake and hold actuator in intermediate STOP position.
4. Loss of power will release spring clutch and return actuator to fail position (limited by adjustable stop).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What are the power supply options for BQSR series electric actuators?
The standard power supply is 120/220VAC 1PH, 50/60 Hz. The BQSR-068 model also supports a 24 VDC power supply.
What materials are used to construct the BQSR series actuators?
The actuators are constructed using Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Spring Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum Alloy, NBR, ABS, and Polycarbonate Plastic, finished with an external Powder Coating.
What are the operating ambient temperature limits for these actuators?
The BQSR series actuators can operate efficiently in ambient temperatures ranging from -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C).
How does the built-in stall protection work?
The actuators feature built-in thermal protection designed to open at 130±5°C to protect the system and automatically close/reset at 85±15°C.
What happens to the actuator in the event of a power loss?
Upon loss of supply power, the brake or spring clutch is released, returning the actuator safely to its fail position, which is limited by an adjustable stop.
Why must each actuator be powered through its own individual switch or relay contacts?
Separate powering for each actuator is required to prevent electrical cross-feed between two or more actuators connected to the system.
