Comparison of the different types of pneumatic actuators (actuators, cylinders).
There are many types of pneumatic actuators, such as pneumatic ball valves, Pneumatic Butterfly Valves, pneumatic plug valves, pneumatic actuators for pneumatic plug valves, and the common ones are AT, GT, AW pneumatic actuators, so what is the difference between them, and analyze in detail their respective characteristics, differences and selections.
一. AT type Pneumatic Actuator
AT pneumatic actuator is a double-piston rack and gear rotation structure design, which is divided into two modes: double-acting and single-acting, and is suitable for all kinds of non-corrosive working environments indoors or outdoors.
Structural characteristics of AT type pneumatic actuator
1. The indicator comes with a NAMUR standard visual multi-function position indicator, which is convenient for installing accessories such as position positioners.
2. Cylinder block ASTM6005 die-cast aluminum alloy cylinder block, hard oxidation, epoxy resin painting, PTFE coating or nickel plating to meet different requirements.
3. The surface of the end cap die-cast aluminum alloy is treated with metal powder and spray paint in various colors, PTFE coating or nickel plating.
4. The output shaft is nickel-plated alloy steel, and the high-precision integrated output also conforms to the NAMUR ISO5211 DIN3337 standard, and the size and stainless steel material can be customized according to customer requirements.
5. Piston double piston rack, using cast aluminum hard oxidation or cast steel galvanized treatment, symmetrical installation position, fast operation, long service life, simple reversal of piston can change the direction of rotation.
6. 二. GT type pneumatic actuator
GT pneumatic actuator is a more commonly used pneumatic actuator than AW pneumatic actuator, GT pneumatic actuator is characterized by low price, small size, light weight and flexible action. As long as the air source can be summarized to realize the opening and closing of the valve, it is very safe and reliable.
Structural features of the GT type pneumatic actuator
1. Compact double-piston rack and pinion structure, precise meshing, high efficiency, and constant output torque.
2. The aluminum cylinder block, piston and end cover are the lightest compared with the actuators of the same specification structure.
3. The cylinder body is extruded aluminum alloy, which is hard anodized, and the inner surface is hard, strong and hard. The plain bearings made of low-friction materials avoid direct contact between metals, have a low coefficient of friction, flexible rotation and long service life.
