Installation Notes
The electric plastic butterfly valve features functions such as internal servo operation, opening degree signal position feedback, position indication, and manual operation, offering strong functionality, reliable performance, and simple wiring. Before installing the electric plastic butterfly valve, the following tasks should be completed:
1. Carefully verify whether the usage of the electric plastic butterfly valve complies with its performance specifications (temperature, pressure)
2. After unpacking, promptly install the valve. Do not loosen any fastening screws or nuts on the valve at will;
3. Before installation, the electric plastic butterfly valve should preferably remain in the closed state. During welding, the valve passage should be covered with a plate to prevent particles and debris from scratching the sealing surface.
4. Multi-layer metal hard-sealed Electric Butterfly Valves and cast steel soft-sealed Electric Butterfly Valves come with standard flanges. For DN200 and above midline soft-sealed clamp-type electric butterfly valves, flanges must be installed;
5. Installers and debuggers must carefully read the user manual and the instructions for pneumatic and Electric Actuators, and strictly follow the manual and wiring diagrams for installation, operation, debugging, and wiring;
6. When the user requests a pressure test, ensure the flanges at both ends are properly clamped or conduct the test on a valve pressure testing bench;
7. Check if there are any debris in the channel and sealing surface of the electric plastic butterfly valve, and promptly remove them.
