Electric stainless steel ball valve
Electric stainless steel ball valves can be tightly closed with only a 90 degree rotation and a small rotational torque. The equal inner cavity of the valve body provides a low resistance and straight passage for the medium. The main characteristics of ball valves are their compact structure, easy operation and maintenance, suitable for general working media such as water, solvents, acids, and natural gas, and also suitable for media with harsh working conditions, such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene. The valve body of a ball valve can be integral or modular. This type of valve pipeline should generally be installed horizontally.
Instruction Manual
This manual is applicable to electric (pneumatic) ball valves with flange connections.
Temperature and pressure limitations
The maximum operating pressure allowed for ball valves at both high and low operating temperatures.
The operating temperature for valve seats and seals made of PTFE or RTFE materials should be between -290 ℃ and 2000 ℃. The operating temperature for other types of valve seats and seals should be inspected by KI factory.
The nominal pressure rating (PN) of a valve can indicate the high working pressure under normal temperature conditions. For example, PN4.0 indicates a maximum working pressure of 40Bar (4.0MPa) when operating at temperatures ranging from -290 ℃ to 380 ℃
Please refer to the corresponding manual for the precautions of electric or Pneumatic Actuators. 1) Remove the protective covers on both sides of the flange end and rinse and clean with the valve open. 2) Before installation, the entire machine should be tested according to the specified signal (electricity or gas) to prevent vibration from affecting the use function during transportation. Only after passing the test can it be installed online (wiring diagram of the electric actuator). 3) Before connecting to the pipeline, it is necessary to flush and remove any remaining impurities in the pipeline (which may damage the valve seat and ball). 4) During installation, please do not use the valve's actuator as a lifting point to avoid damaging the actuator and accessories. 5) This type of valve should be installed in the horizontal or vertical direction of the pipeline. 6) The pipeline near the installation point should not have any low hanging or external force bearing phenomenon, and pipeline supports or supports can be used to eliminate the deviation of the pipeline. 7) After connecting to the pipeline, please cross lock the flange bolts with the specified torque.
Operation and use
1) Before operation, it is necessary to confirm that the pipelines and valves have been flushed. 2) The operation of the valve is completed by driving the valve stem to rotate according to the input signal of the Actuator: when it rotates forward 1/4 turn (900), the valve closes. When rotating 1/4 turn in reverse (900), the valve opens. 3) When the direction indicator arrow of the actuator is parallel to the pipeline, the valve is in the open state; When the arrow is perpendicular to the pipeline, the valve is in the closed state.
