How to increase the switching speed of pneumatic actuators

According to the feedback of the commonly used Theoborn, in the selection of pneumatic valves for some users, the working conditions require the pneumatic valve to be opened and closed quickly, which requires the selection of  pneumatic actuators  that open and close quickly.

1. You can add a storage tank next to the Pneumatic Actuator, and the gas of the gas source should first enter the storage tank, and then it can enter the actuator. The function of adding the storage tank is not to increase the pressure of the inlet gas source, but to stabilize the source of pressure, the principle of this method is that the inlet pipeline is smaller, and then the gas supply can not keep up, resulting in a decrease in pressure. Generally, in this way, important valves can have an emergency air reserve.

2. If the switch is required to be faster, you can replace the pipe through which the gas passes with a thicker one, so that the gas intake will increase, and the switch will naturally be faster

3. Install an accelerator.

In fact, when the valve is equipped with a  pneumatic actuator, the opening and closing time requirements of the valve should be considered, and under the premise of considering safety, if the inlet and exhaust speed of the Pneumatic Actuator is considered, a larger pipe diameter can be selected in the selection of the pipe.

5. You can also add an exhaust valve to increase the opening and closing speed of the pneumatic valve.
