Installation of Rack & Pinion pneumatic actuators and valves
What about the correct installation of Rack & Pinion pneumatic actuators and valves? What are the details? Are there any precautions for Rack & Pinion Pneumatic Actuator installation?
1. After getting the cylinder, first check whether the cylinder model is correct, check whether the cylinder is in the open state or the closed state, and usually the installed state is closed. (Large-diameter valves can also be installed in the open state).
2. Check the direction of cylinder rotation, rotate the valve counterclockwise to open the valve, and rotate the valve to close clockwise.
3. When the cylinder is connected with the valve, check whether the center distance of the connecting hole of the cylinder is consistent with the center distance of the connecting hole of the upper flange of the valve.
4. Check whether the shaft of the cylinder is consistent with the shaft of the valve, if the shaft is inconsistent, a square sleeve can be installed.
5. The cylinder should be consistent with the valve state during installation. (Note that one cannot be in the open state and the other is in the closed state, otherwise the valve will rotate in the opposite direction).
6. Installation status: (except for special requirements) the butterfly valve and the Actuator are installed at 90 degrees. The ball valve and Actuator are installed in parallel.
The above are the installation details of Rack & Pinion pneumatic actuators and valves.
