Installation of Rack & Pinion Pneumatic Actuators and Valves

1.After receiving the cylinder, first check whether the cylinder model is correct. Then check whether the cylinder is in the open or closed state. Usually, when installing, it is in the closed state. (For large-diameter valves, they can also be installed in the open state.)

2. Check the rotation direction of the cylinder. Rotate the valve open by counterclockwise, and close it by clockwise rotation.

3. When connecting the cylinder to the valve, check whether the center distances of the connection holes of the cylinder and the upper flange of the valve are consistent.

4. Check whether the axial direction of the cylinder shaft is consistent with that of the valve. If they are not in alignment, a bushing can be added to make them consistent.

5. During installation, the cylinder should be in the same state as the valve. (Note that they cannot be in opposite states, otherwise the rotation direction of the valve will be reversed.)

6. Installation status: (Except for special requirements) Butterfly valve should be installed at a 90-degree angle with the Actuator. Ball valve should be installed in parallel with the actuator .
