The function of valve electric device
The primary function of the valve electric actuator is to achieve programmed, automatic, and remote control of valves. It converts electrical energy into mechanical energy via the Electric Actuator, driving the movement of the valve core or gate plate to control the opening, closing, and degree of valve operation.
Specific functions and mechanisms
Control Fluid Parameters: Electric valves are primarily used to accurately regulate parameters such as flow rate, pressure, and liquid level of fluids (liquids, gases, steam, etc.) in pipelines. In industrial production processes, electric valves enable automated fluid control, ensuring the stability and safety of the production process.
Signal Transmission and Control: The Electric Actuator receives electrical signals (such as 4-20mA current signals or 0-10V voltage signals) from the control system (e.g., DCS). Through a reduction mechanism (e.g., gears, worm gears, etc.), it converts the high-speed rotational motion into linear or rotational movement of the valve core or gate plate, thereby opening or closing the valve.
Feedback and Monitoring: The electric actuator of an electric valve is usually equipped with feedback devices such as position transmitters, which feed back the actual opening or status information of the valve to the control system for remote monitoring and adjustment.
