1. Product Overview of Pneumatic explosion-proof Ball Valve
The pneumatic explosion-proof ball valve consists of the AT(GT) series  pneumatic actuator  and a floating ball valve, suitable for regulation and shut-off applications. It features excellent sealing performance, high flow capacity, a simple structure, long service life, and easy maintenance. The accompanying actuator boasts a simple and compact structure with a large output torque. When equipped with explosion-proof travel limit switches, explosion-proof solenoid valves, pressure reducers, and a 0.4-0.7 MPa air supply, the pneumatic explosion-proof ball valve enables switching operations and provides two pairs of passive contact signals to indicate valve status. The actuator is available in single-acting and double-acting models. The advantage of the single-acting actuator is that in the event of a failure in the power source, the explosion-proof Pneumatic Ball Valve automatically processes the control system's requirements to open or close to the desired position. The pneumatic explosion-proof ball valve is widely used in industries such as chemical, petroleum, light textile, power, food and pharmaceuticals, refrigeration, aerospace, and papermaking. It can not only control gas, liquid, and steam media but is also suitable for handling sewage and fiber-containing materials.
2、 Product features of pneumatic explosion-proof ball valve
(1) Low fluid resistance, ball valve is one of the types of valves with low fluid resistance, even for reduced diameter ball valves, its fluid resistance is quite small.
(2) Thrust bearings reduce the friction torque of the valve stem, allowing for long-term balanced and flexible operation of the valve stem.
(3) The valve seat has good sealing performance and is made of sealing rings made of materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene. The structure is easy to seal, and the sealing ability of the ball valve increases with the increase of medium pressure.
(4) The valve stem seal is reliable. As the valve stem only rotates and does not move up or down, the additive seal of the valve stem is not easily damaged, and the sealing ability increases with the increase of medium pressure.
