What should be noted for the accuracy of Rack&Pinion  pneumatic actuators ? Rack&Pinionpneumatic actuators are widely used control devices nowadays. There are three types of them, including linear, angular, and Multi Turn Electric Actuators. Angular stroke electric actuators use electric motors as power components to convert input DC current signals into corresponding angular displacements (0-90 degrees). This type of actuator is suitable for operating rotary control valves such as butterfly valves and baffles. After receiving the input DC current signal, the linear actuator rotates the motor, which is then decelerated by the reducer and converted into linear displacement output to operate various control valves such as single seat, double seat, three-way, and other linear control mechanisms. Multi Turn Electric Actuators are mainly used to open and close multi turn valves such as gate valves and globe valves. Due to their relatively high motor power, some of which can be tens of kilowatts, they are generally used for on-site operation and remote control. These three types of actuators are all position servo mechanisms powered by two-phase AC motors, and their electrical principles are completely the same, except for the reducer.

Precautions for controlling the accuracy of Rack&PinionPneumatic Actuators:
1. Firstly, locate the vibration source. For externally induced oscillations, keep the regulating valve away from the vibration source; Eliminate or weaken the oscillation intensity of the vibration source; Consider it appropriate to use methods such as increasing pivot points to reduce the oscillation of the regulating valve. The oscillation caused by the flow of internal media should be minimized as much as possible to reduce the resistance of the regulating valve. An additional bypass pipeline can be added when adjusting to situations where experience permits. For rapid response control systems, logarithmic special property valve cores can be selected. Butterfly valves should strive to operate within a range of 10~70 °, avoiding the alternating force points between the medium and the valve body.
2. The electric Rack&Pinionpneumatic actuator is not functioning. The brake is used to eliminate the inertia and inertia of the rotor and output shaft after the Electric Actuator is powered off, as well as the influence of load feedback force and torque, so as to correctly stop the output shaft in the corresponding position. If the brake does not work, it will reduce the precision of the Electric Actuator's control. Because the following points should be done well.

(1) Adjust the braking torque according to the load volume curve;
(2) The gap between the brake wheel and the brake disc should be adjusted appropriately;
(3) The brake shoes should ensure sufficient friction coefficient, and it is forbidden to drip oil (when adding lubricating oil, do not exceed the maximum position of the oil mark).
3. There are lagging links in the output of electric actuators. The main lagging link lies in the connection between the output shaft of the angular stroke electric actuator and the adjustment mechanism. Because of this, there should be no looseness or clearance during the installation of all connecting rods and levers. Make every effort to use specialized couplings to replace the linkage mechanism. Our coke oven gas collection pipe pressure control system used a special coupling as deemed appropriate, and the effect was satisfactory.
